Tatiana Vilela dos Santos is a multi-awarded independent game designer and artist (Maker Faire, EIGD, A MAZE., Connext…). based in Paris.
Since 2010, she has worked as a game designer for large groups (Orange, BNP Paribas, Renault, Citroën) and research centers (CNRS, Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Institut Acte) on playful projects employing new technologies or making innovative use of them.
Since 2012, she has been creating playful installations and arthouse games, exhibited around the world, as part of her interactive multimedia project MechBird. Most of her creations are playful installations and alternative controller games: video games including handmade, tangible interfaces, built specifically for these experiences.
Whether it is video games with alternative controllers or virtual reality projects, the work of Tatiana Vilela dos Santos tends to explore uncharted territories of playful art to re-enchant reality through digital technology.
