Anna Ridler is an artist and researcher who works with systems of knowledge and how technologies are created in order to better understand the world. She is particularly interested in ideas around measurement and quantification and how this relates to the natural world. Her process often involves working with collections of information or data, particularly data sets, to create new and unusual narratives.
Her work has been exhibited widely at cultural institutions worldwide including the Barbican Centre, Centre Pompidou, HeK Basel, The Photographers’ Gallery, the ZKM Karlsruhe, Ars Electronica and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Since 2016, they’ve been working with household names and future visionaries to help them have an impact on the world around them and build their legacy. With an ethos based around forming tight creative partnerships, they’ve been able to collaborate with an incredible number of artists and to partner with clients ranging from the UK’s largest sushi chain, a night club once home to the largest printing factory in Western Europe through to China’s first gin, and many more.

Freya Salway is the Head of Google Arts &amp; Culture Lab where she leads an artist residency program and oversees global collaborations with artists, scientists and cultural institutions. Based between Paris and London, The Lab is a place where tech and creative communities come together to share ideas and explore application of emerging technologies in an arts &amp; culture context. Prior to Google Freya founded an arts development studio working with artists, cultural organisations, brands and broadcasters. Her career began at Sky Arts where she designed a scholarship program to support emerging artists and led partnerships with cultural institutions across the UK.
