Maya Indira Ganesh & Georgina Voss – Writing Club

Maya Indira Ganesh

Maya Indira Ganesh is a technology and digital cultures researcher,
writer and educator. She co-directs a master’s program on AI Ethics &
Society at the University of Cambridge and is a senior research fellow
at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. She was awarded a Drphil in Cultural Studies from Leuphana University, Lüneburg, Germany, for work that analysed the social shaping of ethics and ‘autonomy’ in driverless cars. In 2022 she co-curated AI Anarchies with Nora N Khan for the German Academy of the Arts/Junge Akademie ; and in 2023 Maya is an advisor to Martin Gropius Bau, Berlin, for their first exhibition on AI, Ether’s Bloom.

Together with Georgina Voss and  Maria Yablonina, she forms the experimental studio, Writing Club.

Georgina Voss

Georgina Voss is an artist, writer, and educator. Her work explores the presence and politics of large-scale technologies, heavy industry, and complex systems through performance, multi-media installations, writing, and long-term research projects.

Georgina has shown work at institutions including transmediale, TAC Eindhoven, Tate, Auto Italia South East, STUK, Brighton Digital Festival, Akademie Schloss Solitude, Vienna Design Biennale, and London Design Festival. She is author of the forthcoming book, Systems Ultra, published by Verso in January 2024.

Georgina is currently Reader in Systems and Deviance at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. She was founded and co-director of research studio, Strange Telemetry, and was awarded her PhD in Science and Technology Studies by SPRU, University of Sussex.
