Our commitment to eco-design in 3D printing, favouring local production, and using responsible materials to reduce waste is as important as designing objects according to their materiality. While form follows function, we also design with a desire for dialogue between material and form. Our work is the result of an experimental practice, combining product design, digital craftsmanship and materials science.
3D printing & eco-design
In the vast world of 3D printing, with its infinite possibilities, our focus lies on the responsible use of materials: the concept of eco-design guides our approach. Whether in the field of interior design, fashion shows or tool design, our creations question the notion of eco-design and strive to provide concrete solutions.
Thanks to the optimisation of printing times and local production, we are able to come up with simple and effective solutions. But we don’t stop there. We are also committed to clarifying and studying the problem of plastics by introducing eco-responsible materials and designing without generating printing waste.
Our work is the result of experimental practice, combining product design, digital craftsmanship and materials science. We have customised our printers and extended their range of tools so that we can print a variety of objects from a diverse range of waste streams: wood, concrete, metal, natural stone… The form of our creations also reflects our expertise: the form follows the function, that of the machine.
